Yay! woop woop, I’m so happy!!! 
I have bought one of the Wool Factory’s Sirdar Coronation Cal crochet along kits to do! I’m so excited to have got one as they have been snapped up so quickly, We’ve had an action packed busy Friday 17th March day as usual at The Wool Factory warehouse, and I couldn’t wait until I finished work at 5pm to walk our beagle Lola and then get started on my new project! 13 balls of loveliness (Using Hayfield DK colours), and a special commemorative label to sew on at the end! How special is this! I'm already two weeks behind, so got started asap! I’m already on a project ( like all us yarn lovers are! I’m on a King Cole Fjord jumper and swore I wasn’t going to start a new project, until today!!!! It was just meant to be! What a memento it’s going to be to keep and omg this label from Sirdar to put on my finished blanket! I feel truly humbled

This is my start of the coronation project for me. This blanket is going to be amazing and such a loved keep sake! I will keep you updated along the way!
Week Two
So I have completed the first week of the crochet along. Week Two - this is the Wave row; representing Charles sea military life, followed by row 15 in cream. Thats it for tonight. Will carry on tomorrow night. Now just finished row 18 and have nine more rows to finish the second section. Round one also explains a need to do four extra cream squares up to round six for corners at a later date and 96 of other tiny squares for the jewels later on! This blanket is just fascinating and the video is brilliantly done and easy to follow even as a guide!
