Week One Blossom and Buds CAL
Hi everyone, well I know you are doing so well as I have been following you all on Sirdar's Make Along. Its great to see all the different pieces of work. Just love it, it's such a great community of people supporting each other doing this beautiful blanket.
Daisy, Daisy, Daisy, well I don't know about you all but oh gosh the colour changes and then the sewing in of all those ends, OMG too many 
! So....got Week One done, . Like a few other people, I have sewn the panel one in differently. I thought it would add texture to the layout. OMG, I was pleased to get all the Daises done, gosh hard work! Ive only just gotten to Part Two of the CAL. All those ends to weave in for daisies etc. So following Sirdar Make Along on Facebook, well its just WOW, to see all the finished panels for the first week and there are some super quick "hookers" out there, some of you have been very creative using up your yarn stash to do the blanket and looks fantastic in different colour shades, and some of you have been very busy doing two blankets at once, one in the pattern colours and the other in your own stash. They all look fantastic.
Myself, well I am struggling to keep up at the moment, with not enough hours in the day, and I still have the daisy to make and the long chevron panel. I started it and had to frog it again as stitch count was wrong! Grrhh 
The chevron pattern is very effective though and once you get into the pattern sequence, it becomes easier. Well carry on the great work everyone and I will catch up with you all soon.
